FLEETWOOD MAC COVERS A to Z

Am I the most significant Fleetwood Mac fan ever? certainly not. I’m quite much a Rumours as well as biggest Hits guy, although I can get into Tusk now as well as then. Still, everyone’s gotta acknowledge that Rumours is one of the biggest rock albums ever, as well as many of their hits are solid. Plus, lotsa indie people have covered them. So, they get an A to Z.

G is for Go Your own Way-Death Cab for Cutie as well as The Decembrists. A quite great rendition, particularly because it’s clearly just an unscripted sing-a-long. between this version as well as The Meat Puppets one, below, I’m getting a sense that this is a much more complex tune than it appears at first. as well as sadly, my version of this tune is cut off. Original: A-/Cover: C+.

M is likewise for Go Your own Way-The Meat Puppets. I like my Puppets, however this is strained. They noise like they can’t get it together to cover this, the expense Clinton fight song. Cover: C-.

N is for Dreams-The new Pornographers. They take that dream-like guitar cry at the beginning as well as turn it into a cat’s meow. They likewise giggle throughout, making it noise like they’re making fun of the song. Still, it’s quite well done. I’m providing this version a B. N is likewise for walk a thin Line-New Pornographers. I don’t understand the original, however I dig this one. I’ll provide it a B-.
